Folks -
After much discussion and debate, Joel and I have decided to support the formation of a *501 Elite Clan*.  This will be the 5th clan of the 501 family, and will _only_  allow exclusive membership requiring an extensive interview process.  This is a decision we did not take lightly, and something we have often shied away from in the past.  The tight knit group will be small and will represent the best of the best that 501 has to offer.  This team will strive to be the best on NA server and will be a beacon we can all root for.

Having this elite clan does not change any direction / plans / competitiveness of the current 4 clans in 501.

PixelRage has accepted the role of Commander of the elite clan.  Jdm7 and myself will handle the application/recruitment/interview process, providing viable candidates for the elite clan to accept or reject.  *All potential candidates will need to first discuss with Jdm7 and myself.*   We will be reviewing the following to qualify folks to apply for membership:

1.  High win rate requirement
2.  High WN8 / Star1 requirement
3.  Service time in one of the 501 clans
4.  Detailed interview process
5.  Detailed stat review process
6.  Detailed review of candidate's public image
7.  Interview references provided by candidate
8.  Review / approval from 501 Leadership Group

This is a large step for us, and one we are not taking lightly.  Please join us in congratulating Pixel on his new role and join us in supporting the new 501 Elite Clan.
